Brent Baptist Church Affirmations & Beliefs

Brent Baptist believes in the expositional preaching and teaching of God’s Word.

We believe that the Bible is God’s perfect holy and complete Word.

We believe that man is obviously sinful and in need of a Savior.

We believe that salvation and forgiveness of sin are provided for by faith in Christ Jesus.

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He came to die for sinful man therefore to pay God’s judgment for sin.

We believe that salvation and eternal life are given when an individual recognizes his sin and by faith seeks to turn and trust Christ as Savior and Lord.

Brent Baptist Church is deeply committed to the historic traditions and convictions of the Southern Baptist Convention and we firmly align ourselves with the SBC Baptist Faith and Message. If you are interested in becoming a member of Brent Baptist Church you may do that by:

Profession of Faith and Baptism
I have accepted Christ and would like to join Brent Baptist and be baptized by immersion.

Baptism from Another Denomination
I am a Christian but have never been baptized by immersion. I would like to join and be baptized by immersion.

Transfer of Letter
I am a member of a Southern Baptist church and would like to transfer my membership to Brent Baptist.

Statement of Faith
I am a Christian and have been baptized by immersion. I would like to join Brent Baptist.

How to let us know of your decision:

Contact our Pastor through the church office and schedule a meeting to let him know of your intentions. After you have shared your testimony of salvation, you will be encouraged to come forward during the invitation of a Worship Service for membership.
