We want to welcome you to Brent Academy! Brent Academy is our new Discipleship Training program. A program designed to encourage you in your walk with the Lord. We hope you will join us at 5:00 p.m. and get involved as we seek to make Brent Baptist Church and Academy the "Sunday Night" place to be! We also encourage small group studies to be held at various times throughout the week connecting the body of Christ together in the Word and in the fellowshiping of the Saints.
Understanding & Applying Galatians - Sunday at 5:00 pm
The Facilitator for this class is Ed Lightsey. This class meets in the “cellar” and will run continuous for 1-2 years. Come and study the Book of Galatians and then participate in the REACH ministry by writing letters and post cards to those who need encouragement.
On-Going Adult Discipleship Training Classes - Sunday at 5:00 pm
We have two adult on-going Discipleship Training Classes whose topics are selected by the participants. These classes are located in the “tea room” and in the “cellar”. The Facilitators for these classes are Dale & Lynn Ellinghausen, Dina Pow, Shirley Foster and Jeff James. If you are interested in participating in these classes, please contact them directly.
Word of Life for Kids and Brent Baptist Youth - Sunday at 5:00 pm
This great ministry is part of our CLASSIC Kids Ministry for children ages 4 yrs – 6th grades. Word of Life is led by our Children’s Ministry Leadership Team and you do not want your child to miss this great opportunity for Discipleship. Word of Life is all about scripture memory, applying God’s Word as well as awards, games & recreation.
On Sunday all Brent Baptist Youth should meet in their regular place & time for discipleship training!
Financial Peace University - Dave Ramsey - Tuesday's at 6:00 pm
A 13 week life changing course that is designed by Dave Ramsey who will instruct via DVD on how to utilize your income and how to get our debt. You must attend a preview class in order to register. Facilitator is Dr. Don and Marie Elam. Please contact the church regarding this class as it will be starting very soon!
